Yes, it's self deprecating humor, but she firmly believes not everyone writes New York Times bestsellers, and that there's a place for every romance out there.

So she's aiming to proudly own the 'mediocre' narrative by writing F1 inspired contemporary romance books you can read as palate cleansers between reads.

Kae Henneman* lives in a metropolitan city along with her husband, young son and their Boston Terriers. She dreams of moving to the countryside, learning to make cheese and owning a miniature horse.

*Kae Henneman is a pen name - due to the spicy nature of her books, Kae opted for a pen name. Not because there is anything wrong with spice, (Kae is an avid consumer thereof) rather because she would DIE of embarrassment if her mother EVER read what she wrote.
